Gates Premium Molded Coolant Hose Upper Radiator

Gates Premium Molded Coolant Hose for the upper radiator position is a molded radiator hose, also called an upper radiator hose or coolant hose. It carries hot coolant from the engine to the radiator. Each hose is molded to a specific shape so it routes cleanly and fits correctly.

Key Features:

• Molded construction: Pre-formed shapes help the hose route correctly and resist kinking.
• Reinforced, multi-layer design: Built to handle cooling system pressure, heat cycling and engine vibration.
• Coolant-resistant materials: The rubber compounds are formulated to resist degradation from modern coolants, ozone and heat.
• Quality control: Gates is a long-established maker of belts and hoses and supplies both OE and aftermarket customers.

Replacing an aging upper radiator hose helps prevent leaks, bursts and overheating. It is a practical item to replace along with the thermostat, coolant and clamps during cooling system service.
