Gates 23975 Premium Molded Coolant Hose Upper Radiator

The Gates 23975 is a premium molded coolant hose engineered for upper radiator applications, specifically designed for the filler neck to engine connection. This precision-manufactured coolant hose delivers OE-quality performance with materials and construction that meet or exceed original equipment specifications.

Key Features:

• EPDM tube construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement for superior durability
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Heat- and ozone-resistant EPDM cover protects against environmental damage
• Specifically engineered materials resist vacuum collapse, reducing the need for internal springs
• Pre-shaped molded design ensures proper fit and perfectly sealed connections
• Meets SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 requirements
• Temperature range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
• Resistant to heat, ozone, and chemical coolants

Gates molded coolant hoses are precision-manufactured to fit upper, lower, bypass, heater, and other coolant applications with OEM-quality specifications. Each hose is engineered to resist the electrochemical degradation that occurs when the hose, liquid coolant, and engine fittings form a galvanic cell, preventing the micro-cracks and coolant seepage that lead to premature failure.

Important Installation Notes: Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal sealing performance. This hose is designed for coolant applications only and should not be used for fuel or oil transfer applications.
