Standard Motor Products Engine Cooling Fan Temperature Switch

The Standard Motor Products engine cooling fan temperature switch (also called a radiator fan switch or coolant temperature fan switch) helps control your electric cooling fan. It senses engine coolant temperature and turns the fan on and off at the right points. This helps keep the engine at its proper operating temperature in traffic, at idle, and in hot weather.

Key Features:

• Senses coolant temperature and activates the cooling fan circuit when needed
• Helps prevent overheating and supports steady engine operating temperature
• Built to meet or exceed original equipment form, fit, and function
• Designed for reliable, repeatable switching across a wide range of operating conditions
• Supports efficient cooling system operation and helps avoid unnecessary fan run time

Standard Motor Products is a long-established supplier of engine management and temperature control components. A worn or failed fan switch can cause the fan to run constantly or not run at all. Either problem can lead to overheating, poor performance, or higher fuel use. Replacing the switch restores proper fan control and helps protect the engine and cooling system.
