J.C. Whitney JRT96090002 Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor 4-Wire OEM Replacement

The J.C. Whitney JRT96090002 is a direct-fit, heated upstream oxygen sensor (O2 sensor) designed as an OEM-quality replacement. This 4-wire air/fuel ratio sensor is engineered for a precise, plug-and-play installation with no splicing or modification required.

Positioned upstream of the catalytic converter, this sensor continuously monitors exhaust gas oxygen content and sends real-time data to the engine control module (ECM). This feedback loop allows the ECM to fine-tune the air/fuel mixture for optimal combustion efficiency, reduced emissions, and maximum fuel economy. A failing upstream O2 sensor can trigger a check engine light, cause rough idling, reduce fuel economy, and lead to catalytic converter damage if left unaddressed.
