J.C. Whitney JT960908 Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor 4-Wire OEM Replacement

The J.C. Whitney JT960908 is a direct-fit, OEM-replacement upstream oxygen sensor designed for select Toyota and Lexus vehicles equipped with V6 3.0L engines. This heated, 4-wire O2 sensor installs in the upstream (pre-catalytic converter) position and is engineered to restore proper air-fuel ratio monitoring for accurate engine management and optimal fuel efficiency.

This sensor features a threaded mounting style with an M18-1.5 thread size and 7/8 in. hex size, making removal and installation straightforward with standard tools. The 4-wire heated design ensures fast sensor warm-up and reliable signal output even during cold starts and varied driving conditions.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit OEM replacement — no cutting or splicing required
• 4-wire heated sensor design for rapid warm-up and accurate readings
• Upstream (Bank 1, Sensor 1) placement — installs before the catalytic converter
• Threaded mounting style with M18-1.5 thread size and 7/8 in. hex size
• Male connector with approximately 10.8 in. wire harness length
• Restores proper air-fuel ratio feedback to the engine control module
• Helps reduce engine hesitation, rough idle, and excessive fuel consumption
• Compatible with cross-reference part numbers: 234-9009, 8946741010, 8946741011, 8946748010, 8946748011

Replacing a faulty upstream oxygen sensor with the JT960908 helps prevent catalytic converter damage, reduces harmful emissions, and restores engine performance. This sensor ships as a single unit and is ready for installation.
