J.C. Whitney JM960910 Heated Upstream Oxygen Sensor 4-Wire OEM Replacement

The J.C. Whitney JM960910 is a direct-fit, OEM-replacement upstream oxygen sensor featuring a 4-wire heated design. The integrated heater element allows the sensor to reach optimal operating temperature quickly after a cold start, enabling accurate air/fuel ratio monitoring sooner and reducing emissions during warm-up cycles.

Positioned before the catalytic converter (upstream), this O2 sensor continuously feeds exhaust gas data to the engine control module (ECM), allowing the fuel injection system to maintain the ideal stoichiometric mixture for peak combustion efficiency and fuel economy.

Key Features:

• 4-Wire Heated Construction – Two heater wires accelerate sensor warm-up for faster closed-loop fuel control
• Upstream (Pre-Catalytic Converter) Position – Monitors exhaust gases directly from the engine for precise air/fuel feedback
• OEM Replacement Design – Engineered to match original equipment fit, form, and function
• Direct-Fit Connector – Plug-and-play installation with the factory wiring harness connector
• Durable Construction – Built to withstand high exhaust temperatures and harsh under-hood environments

The J.C. Whitney JM960910 oxygen sensor is designed to restore proper engine management function, help resolve oxygen sensor-related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), and maintain optimal fuel economy and emissions performance.
