Keystone GM3012109 Turbo Intercooler Charge Air Cooler OEM Replacement

The Keystone GM3012109 is an OEM-replacement turbocharger intercooler (charge air cooler) engineered for the Chevrolet Malibu equipped with the 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This direct-fit intercooler restores proper charged air cooling between the turbocharger outlet and the engine intake, helping maintain combustion efficiency and protecting engine performance.

The intercooler works by compressing intake air from the turbocharger and cooling it before it enters the engine, which increases air density, improves combustion, and helps sustain power output under load. A failed or leaking intercooler can result in reduced power, higher intake temperatures, and potential engine damage over time — making timely replacement critical on turbocharged vehicles.

Key Features:

• OEM-style direct-fit replacement — no modification required
• Aluminum construction for efficient heat transfer and long-term durability
• Core dimensions approximately 26-1/4" x 11-1/4" x 1-1/4"
• 2.2" inlet and 2.2" outlet connections with quick-connect fittings
• Crossflow design matches original factory configuration
