GPD 1814999 Ignition Knock Detonation Sensor OE Replacement

The GPD 1814999 is a direct-fit ignition knock sensor (also known as a detonation sensor) designed to restore proper engine management and ignition timing control. The knock sensor monitors vibrations in the engine block to detect pre-ignition or detonation events, relaying that data to the ECM so timing can be adjusted to protect the engine and maintain performance.

Key Features:

• OE-Matched Design: Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for fit, form, and function
• Blade Terminal Configuration: Two-terminal blade-style connector provides stable electrical contact and minimizes signal loss
• Male Connector: Designed for direct plug-in compatibility with factory wiring harnesses
• 100% Tested: Quality-controlled for reliable, consistent performance before leaving the factory
• Premium Materials: Built to withstand the thermal and vibrational demands of the engine bay
• 1-Year Warranty: Backed by GPD's standard limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

The GPD 1814999 knock sensor is a reliable, cost-effective replacement for a worn or failed OEM detonation sensor. Proper knock sensor function is critical to engine health — a faulty sensor can result in sluggish performance, poor fuel economy, and potential engine damage from undetected detonation. Replace your knock sensor with confidence using GPD part number 1814999.
