GPD 1811932 Ignition Knock Detonation Sensor

The GPD 1811932 is a direct-fit replacement ignition knock sensor, also known as a detonation sensor, designed to restore proper engine management function. Knock sensors are critical engine components that detect abnormal combustion events — commonly referred to as engine knock, ping, or pre-ignition — and relay that signal to the engine control module (ECM) so ignition timing can be corrected in real time.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement — engineered to meet or exceed original equipment (OE) fit, form, and function
• 100% tested for durability and reliable performance prior to packaging
• Manufactured to stringent OE specifications for consistent, accurate detonation sensing
• Mounts on the engine block, cylinder head, or intake manifold depending on application
• Helps prevent engine damage caused by undetected pre-ignition or detonation events
• Backed by GPD's 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

GPD (Global Parts Distributors) has been a trusted name in replacement automotive components since 1974, offering professional-quality parts at competitive price points. The 1811932 knock sensor is sold individually and is designed for straightforward installation.
