GPD 1811895 Ignition Knock Detonation Sensor

The GPD 1811895 is a direct-fit replacement ignition knock (detonation) sensor designed to restore proper engine management function. Manufactured by Global Parts Distributors (GPD) to OE specifications, this sensor delivers reliable, accurate performance that matches the fit and function of the original factory part.

The knock sensor is mounted on the engine block, cylinder head, or intake manifold, where it continuously monitors engine vibration patterns. When the sensor detects the abnormal vibrations associated with pre-ignition or engine knock, it signals the ECM to adjust ignition timing — protecting the engine from damaging detonation and helping maintain optimal fuel efficiency.

Key Features:

• OE-equivalent fit, form, and function for a reliable drop-in replacement
• Detects pre-ignition and detonation vibrations to protect engine components
• Enables ECM-controlled ignition timing adjustments for optimal performance
• Manufactured by GPD (Global Parts Distributors) to stringent quality standards
• 1-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

A failing knock sensor can trigger a Check Engine light, cause poor fuel economy, and leave the engine unprotected from harmful detonation. The GPD 1811895 is a cost-effective, quality replacement to restore full engine management operation.
