GPD 1811874 Ignition Knock Detonation Sensor Replacement

The GPD 1811874 is a direct-fit ignition knock (detonation) sensor engineered to meet or exceed original equipment fit, form, and function. Designed as a precision replacement for the factory knock sensor, this unit restores proper engine management and ignition timing control.

The knock sensor is mounted on the engine block and continuously monitors engine vibrations. When it detects the abnormal vibrations characteristic of engine knock or pre-ignition, it signals the ECU to retard ignition timing, protecting the engine from potentially damaging detonation events.
