Aaon V80520 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV)

The Aaon V80520 is a genuine OEM thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) designed for use in Aaon commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, air handlers, and packaged cooling systems. This precision metering device controls the flow of refrigerant entering the evaporator coil, maintaining optimal superheat levels for efficient system operation and compressor protection.

Key Features:

• Genuine Aaon OEM part ensures proper fit and performance
• Controls refrigerant flow to maintain constant superheat at evaporator outlet
• Prevents liquid refrigerant from entering the compressor, protecting against damage
• Optimizes system efficiency by precisely metering refrigerant based on cooling load
• Factory-calibrated for reliable operation in commercial HVAC applications
• Durable brass construction for long service life

The thermostatic expansion valve is a critical component in refrigeration cycles, converting high-pressure liquid refrigerant to a low-pressure mixture as it enters the evaporator. A temperature-sensing bulb mounted at the evaporator outlet continuously monitors system conditions and modulates valve opening to match cooling demand. This ensures optimal system performance while preventing compressor flooding and maximizing energy efficiency in Aaon equipment.
