Product Details

The Aaon V23590 is a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) designed for commercial HVAC applications requiring precise refrigerant metering and system efficiency. This expansion valve regulates refrigerant flow into the evaporator coil based on superheat, ensuring optimal cooling performance and preventing compressor damage from liquid floodback.

Key Specifications:

  • Inlet Connection: 5/8" ODF (flare fitting)
  • Outlet Connection: 1-1/8" ODF (flare fitting)
  • Nominal Capacity: 15 tons
  • Capillary Tube Length: 5 feet
  • ODF (Flare) connections for reliable, leak-free installation
  • Designed specifically for Aaon rooftop units and commercial air conditioning systems

This TXV maintains consistent evaporator superheat across varying load conditions, improving energy efficiency and system reliability. The 5-foot capillary tube provides flexible sensing bulb placement for accurate temperature measurement. Ideal for replacement or new installations in commercial cooling applications.

Product was as advertised. Packaging was poor. Furnace was damaged (bent in two places) but not enough to effect operation. Their prices were much better than other sites. Would definitely recommend for RV parts.

Had just what I was looking for at a great price.
