Field Controls GVD-7PL Automatic Vent Damper for Gas Systems - 7 24V

The Field Controls GVD-7PL is a 7-inch automatic vent damper designed for 24-volt gas heating systems. This energy-saving device automatically opens when the heating system operates and closes when the system shuts down, preventing heated air from escaping up the chimney or vent pipe during off-cycles.

Key Features:

• 7-inch diameter damper blade fits standard residential flue pipes
• Operates on 24VAC power systems commonly found in gas furnaces and boilers
• Automatic operation reduces standby heat loss and improves AFUE ratings
• Helps prevent cold air downdrafts when heating system is not running
• Durable construction for reliable long-term performance
• Wiring harness sold separately (not included with this unit)

This automatic vent damper is ideal for retrofit installations on existing gas heating equipment or new installations where improved efficiency is desired. The GVD-7PL helps reduce energy costs by minimizing heat loss through the venting system during off-cycles. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper operation and compliance with local building codes.
