Field Controls 6MG1 Double Acting Draft Regulator for Gas Appliances - 6-Inch

The Field Controls 6MG1 is a 6-inch double acting draft regulator designed for gas-fired heating appliances. This regulator automatically maintains consistent draft pressure in the flue system, preventing backdrafts and ensuring proper venting performance for safe and efficient appliance operation.

Key Features:

• Double acting design compensates for both positive and negative pressure fluctuations
• 6-inch diameter fits standard residential and light commercial vent pipes
• Helps maintain optimal combustion efficiency by stabilizing draft conditions
• Prevents downdrafts that can cause spillage of combustion gases
• Durable construction for long-lasting performance in demanding applications
• Easy installation in vertical or horizontal vent pipe configurations

Draft regulators are essential safety devices for gas furnaces, boilers, and water heaters, particularly in installations where variable draft conditions can affect appliance performance. The 6MG1 provides reliable draft control to protect against dangerous flue gas spillage while optimizing fuel efficiency.
