Standard Motor Products AS637 MAP Sensor Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor

The Standard Motor Products AS637 is a direct-fit Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor designed to restore proper engine management and fuel delivery performance. The MAP sensor monitors intake manifold pressure and transmits that data to the engine control module (ECM), which uses it to calculate the correct air/fuel mixture for optimal combustion efficiency.

Standard Motor Products engineers their sensors to meet or exceed OEM specifications, ensuring a reliable, like-for-like replacement that installs without modification. This sensor is built to deliver accurate pressure readings across the full operating range of the engine, helping to eliminate symptoms such as rough idle, poor fuel economy, hesitation, and failed emissions tests caused by a faulty MAP sensor.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM replacement — no modifications required for installation
• Meets or exceeds original equipment specifications for accurate pressure measurement
• Helps restore proper air/fuel ratio and ignition timing
• Manufactured to strict quality control standards for long-term reliability
• Designed for precise fit and secure connector engagement
• Helps resolve rough idle, poor acceleration, and check engine light conditions related to MAP sensor failure

Standard Motor Products has been a trusted name in engine management and ignition components for decades, supplying both the OEM and aftermarket channels. The AS637 is part of their comprehensive sensor lineup, offering a cost-effective solution to restore engine performance without sacrificing quality.
