Trane CNT7188 High Limit Switch F Open F Close - 140 110

The Trane CNT7188 is a high-limit safety switch designed for HVAC heating systems to prevent overheating conditions. This critical safety component monitors temperature and automatically interrupts system operation when unsafe temperature levels are detected.

Key Specifications:

• Opening temperature: 140°F (switch opens to shut down system)
• Closing temperature: 110°F (switch resets when cooled)
• Automatic reset design for convenient operation
• Genuine OEM Trane replacement part
• Designed for residential and light commercial heating equipment

This high-limit switch serves as an essential safety device that protects furnaces, heat pumps, and air handlers from damage caused by excessive heat buildup. When the temperature reaches 140°F, the switch opens the circuit to shut down the heating system. Once the temperature drops to 110°F, the switch automatically resets, allowing normal operation to resume. Proper functioning of this component is critical for safe HVAC system operation and helps prevent equipment failure.
