Trane THT3064 High Limit Switch Opens 165°F Closes 105°F

The Trane THT3064 is a genuine OEM automatic reset limit switch designed for Trane furnaces and heating systems. This critical safety component continuously monitors temperature within the heating system to prevent overheating and potential equipment damage.

Key Features:

• Opens at 165°F to shut down the heating cycle when temperature exceeds safe limits
• Closes at 105°F to allow the system to resume normal operation once temperature drops
• Automatic reset design eliminates need for manual intervention
• Snap disc construction for reliable, precise temperature sensing
• Two-terminal connection for straightforward installation
• Compact footprint suitable for tight furnace cabinet spaces

This high limit switch serves as an essential safety feature, automatically cutting off the heating cycle if temperatures rise above safe operational levels. When the furnace cools down to the close temperature of 105°F, the switch automatically resets, allowing normal operation to resume. Regular inspection and replacement of faulty limit switches helps ensure efficient, safe operation of Trane heating equipment and prevents hazardous conditions such as fires or equipment damage.
