CMP CMX06AL Streamlined Shaft Anode Aluminum 1-3/8 Inch

The CMP CMX06AL is a premium streamlined shaft anode designed to provide superior cathodic protection for boat propeller shafts and rudders in salt water and brackish water environments. Manufactured by Martyr (Canada Metal Pacific), this aluminum alloy anode meets or exceeds US Military Specification MIL-DTL-24779C(SH) for reliable marine-grade corrosion protection.

Key Features:

• Aluminum alloy construction for use in salt and brackish water applications
• Two-piece design with interlocking halves ensures proper fit and alignment
• 100% circular radius provides full shaft contact for maximum protection
• Extra alloy material around the fastener area extends service life
• Stainless steel slotted head hardware with lock washer and bolt retaining washers
• Bolt retaining washers prevent the anode from falling off during operation
• Easy installation, can be installed underwater if needed
• Fits shafts with 1-3/8 inch diameter

Martyr anodes are manufactured using mil-spec alloy that erodes inward, creating a predictable sandblasted appearance that makes inspection easy. The streamlined design minimizes drag while providing complete corrosion protection for your vessel's underwater metal components. Replace when 70% eroded to maintain optimal protection.
