Maxitrol M620-1 Modulating Gas Valve for Direct Fired Burners HVAC Control Valves & Actuators - 1

The Maxitrol M620-1 is a 1-inch NPT modulating gas valve designed for precise flame control in direct-fired negative pressure burner applications. This valve provides infinite, continuous flame adjustment without requiring external mechanical activation, making it ideal for maintaining consistent temperatures in commercial and industrial heating applications.

Key Features:

• 1-inch NPT threaded connections for easy installation
• Designed exclusively for negative pressure (pull-through) applications
• Counter spring design keeps valve closed despite negative pressure pull
• Maximum outlet pressure of 7 inches water column
• Operates with Maxitrol Selectra modulation systems or SC11 Signal Conditioners
• Voltage-controlled operation provides proportional outlet pressure adjustment
• Integrated bypass orifice for low-fire stability
• Maximum current draw of 0.4 amps
• Requires separate upstream pressure regulator

This modulating valve works by applying voltage to a solenoid, which creates magnetic force on a plunger that pushes down on the main diaphragm. As voltage increases, outlet pressure increases proportionally, allowing precise control from low fire to high fire conditions. Applications include area heating, makeup air systems, process heating, and other HVAC applications requiring consistent temperature control.
