Wells 5D1011 Ignition Distributor Cap OE Replacement

The Wells 5D1011 is an OE-replacement ignition distributor cap engineered by WVE by NTK, a leading name in advanced vehicle electronics for the automotive aftermarket. This distributor cap is a direct-fit replacement designed to restore proper ignition system function and reliable engine performance.

A distributor cap plays a critical role in the ignition system by receiving high secondary current from the ignition coil and rotor, then directing that voltage through the ignition wires to each spark plug in the correct firing order. When a distributor cap becomes worn, cracked, or corroded, it can cause hard starting, engine misfires, increased fuel consumption, and even catalytic converter damage.

Key Features:

• Designed to meet or exceed OE specifications in form, fit, and function
• Engineered to eliminate known original equipment design flaws for improved reliability
• Prevents oxidation and corrosion of cap towers that create high secondary resistance
• Direct OE-style replacement for fast, straightforward installation
• Stringently tested for durability and consistent performance
• Backed by WVE's legacy of over 120 years in automotive electrical manufacturing
