Dorman 904-7163CD Exhaust Backpressure Sensor for Diesel Engines

The Dorman 904-7163CD is a heavy-duty exhaust backpressure sensor designed to monitor exhaust system pressure in diesel engines. This sensor provides critical data to the engine control module (ECM) to optimize performance, manage emissions, and ensure proper operation of the diesel particulate filter (DPF) system.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for worn or failed OE sensors
• Engineered for heavy-duty diesel applications
• Monitors exhaust backpressure to ensure proper DPF regeneration
• Helps maintain optimal engine performance and fuel efficiency
• Rigorously tested to ensure reliable operation in harsh exhaust environments

This exhaust pressure sensor is a critical emissions system component that helps prevent check engine lights and ensures compliance with emissions standards. Dorman engineers design their sensors to meet or exceed OE specifications for reliable, long-lasting performance.
