Product Details

The Dorman 973-5089 Blower Motor Speed Resistor is a direct replacement component designed to restore proper HVAC blower motor function in your vehicle. This resistor controls the fan speed settings for your heating and air conditioning system, allowing you to adjust airflow from low to high speeds.

Key Features:

  • Direct fit replacement for reliable performance and easy installation
  • Controls multiple blower motor speed settings for precise climate control
  • Durable construction designed to withstand heat and electrical load cycles
  • Rigorously tested to meet or exceed OEM specifications
  • Restores proper function when blower only works on high speed or fails to operate

When a blower motor resistor fails, common symptoms include the HVAC blower only working on the highest speed setting, certain speed settings not functioning, or complete blower motor failure. The Dorman 973-5089 provides a cost-effective solution to restore full functionality to your vehicle's climate control system.
