Gates 18347 Molded Heater Hose 3/4 Inch Small I.D. EPDM

The Gates 18347 is a factory-molded, OEM-style coolant hose engineered to fit today's smaller, tighter-fitting engine compartments. This Small Inside Diameter (I.D.) molded hose features EPDM rubber construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, providing superior durability and reliable performance in demanding automotive and marine applications.

Key Features:

• 3/4 inch (18mm) inside diameter at both ends
• 16-15/16 inch (430mm) centerline length
• EPDM tube and cover with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation—the leading cause of hose failure
• Temperature range: -40°F to 275°F (-40°C to 135°C)
• Meets SAE 20R3 type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications
• Approved for marine applications
• Compatible with coolant, water, and air applications

This molded hose is built to OEM specifications with all the quality features Gates is known for. The EPDM construction resists coolant breakdown and temperature extremes, while the electrochemical degradation resistance helps prevent the micro-cracks that lead to coolant leaks and system failure. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal performance.
