Gates Molded Heater Hose Small I.D. EPDM

The Gates Molded Heater Hose (Small I.D., EPDM) is a pre-formed coolant hose for vehicle heating and cooling systems. It carries hot coolant between the engine and the heater core. The molded shapes follow tight routing paths, so the hose can replace a worn, cracked or leaking heater hose without hand-bending or kinking.

Key Features:

• EPDM construction: EPDM rubber resists heat, ozone, weathering and the effects of modern long-life coolants.
• Molded shapes: Pre-formed curves let the hose fit the routing it was designed for and keep coolant flowing.
• Reinforced build: Reinforcement helps the hose hold its shape under pressure and temperature cycling.
• Small I.D. design: Made for heater circuit connections that use smaller-diameter hose.
• Gates quality: Gates is a well-known maker of belts, hoses and fluid-transfer products, and it supplies both OE and aftermarket customers.

Replacing an aging heater hose helps prevent coolant leaks, loss of cabin heat and overheating. This hose is also sold as a molded coolant hose or heater hose. Each size and shape in the line is listed as its own item.
