Product Details

The Mikuni J8-6EJ12-58 is a precision-engineered jet needle designed specifically for TMX38 flat slide carburetors. This critical metering component controls fuel flow through the needle jet, directly affecting mid-range throttle performance and air-fuel mixture across the carburetor's operating range.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement jet needle for TMX38 flat slide carburetors
  • Part number J8-6EJ12-58 for accurate identification and ordering
  • Precision-machined taper for consistent fuel metering
  • Genuine Mikuni OEM component ensuring proper fit and performance
  • Controls fuel delivery in the 1/4 to 3/4 throttle range

Jet needles are essential tuning components that work in conjunction with the needle jet to optimize engine performance across various altitudes, temperatures, and riding conditions. The tapered design allows for progressive fuel metering as the throttle slide rises, making proper jet needle selection crucial for smooth throttle response and optimal power delivery.
