Product Details

The Mikuni J8-6EJ12-55 is a precision-engineered jet needle designed specifically for TMX38 flat slide carburetors. This critical metering component controls fuel flow through the carburetor's needle jet, directly affecting mid-range throttle performance and fuel mixture accuracy.

Key Features:

  • Precision-manufactured to Mikuni OEM specifications for reliable performance
  • Designed for TMX38 flat slide carburetor applications
  • Controls fuel metering in the mid-throttle range (approximately 1/4 to 3/4 throttle)
  • Features J8-6EJ12 taper profile for optimized fuel delivery
  • Direct replacement for worn or damaged jet needles

The jet needle works in conjunction with the needle jet to regulate fuel mixture as the throttle slide moves up and down. Proper jet needle selection and condition is essential for achieving optimal engine performance, smooth throttle response, and correct air-fuel ratios throughout the mid-range power band. This genuine Mikuni component ensures precise fitment and consistent metering characteristics.
