EBC MD1161XC XC Series Contour Brake Rotor

The EBC MD1161XC XC Series Contour Brake Rotor delivers superior braking performance through advanced materials and engineering. Featuring a high-friction stainless steel blend, this rotor provides up to 10% improvement in braking friction compared to standard OEM rotors, resulting in stronger, more consistent stopping power.

Key Features:

• High-friction stainless steel rotor blade construction for enhanced braking performance
• Lightweight aluminum center hub reduces overall weight by 5-10% compared to stock rotors
• 6-button drive system using EBC's patented SD-System (Square Drive) technology
• Square-sided rivets allow unrestricted thermal expansion in all directions, preventing warping
• Maintains perfect flatness throughout rotor lifespan for vibration-free braking
• Extended service life—up to 5-10 times longer than conventional circular-button rotors
• Superior load distribution with line contact vs. point contact design
• Contoured design optimizes cooling and reduces unsprung weight

The innovative SD-System square button design is the key to this rotor's durability. By allowing the rotor to expand naturally under heat without restraint, distortion and warping are virtually eliminated. Combined with the lightweight alloy hub and high-performance steel blend, the MD1161XC delivers race-proven technology for street and sport riding applications.
