Mikuni VM44/23-3.0 Throttle Slide 3.0 Cutaway for VM44 Carburetor

The Mikuni VM44/23-3.0 is a precision throttle slide designed for Mikuni VM series carburetors, specifically fitting 40mm and 44mm spigot-mount models. This throttle valve controls airflow and fuel delivery through the carburetor's venturi, with the cutaway size directly affecting engine performance characteristics.

Key Specifications:

• Cutaway size: 3.0 (affects throttle response and midrange performance)
• Compatible with VM40 and VM44 spigot-mount carburetors
• Brass construction with chrome plating for durability and smooth operation
• Left-hand (LH) idle screw position configuration
• Precision-machined for consistent slide movement and air metering

The throttle slide cutaway determines how much fuel is delivered during partial throttle openings. A 3.0 cutaway represents a moderate setting suitable for a wide range of applications. The chrome-plated brass construction ensures long-lasting performance and resistance to wear from constant friction against the carburetor bore. When tuning your Mikuni carburetor, selecting the proper slide cutaway is essential for achieving optimal throttle response, fuel economy, and engine performance across the RPM range.
