Mikuni VM38/24-3.5 Throttle Slide Cutaway for VM Series Carburetors - 3.5

The Mikuni VM38/24-3.5 is a precision throttle slide (valve) designed for Mikuni VM series carburetors with a 38mm spigot mounting. This component controls airflow and fuel mixture as you open the throttle, playing a critical role in engine response and performance.

Key Features:

• 3.5 cutaway size for optimized airflow characteristics
• 38mm spigot diameter for VM38 carburetor bodies
• Brass construction with chrome plating for durability and smooth operation
• Right-hand (RH) idle screw position configuration
• Direct replacement for worn or damaged throttle slides

The cutaway number (3.5) determines how the slide meters air and fuel during the critical off-idle to quarter-throttle range. Different cutaway sizes allow tuners to fine-tune throttle response and mixture for specific engine applications. The chrome-plated brass construction ensures long-lasting durability while maintaining the smooth sliding action essential for precise throttle control.
