Product Details

The 3M 8237 Automix is a professional-grade two-part urethane adhesive specifically engineered for repairing semi-rigid plastic parts and bumper covers commonly found in automotive applications. This versatile repair solution bonds to a wide range of thermoplastic materials including Xenoy, RRIM (Reinforced Reaction Injection Molding), GTX, PPO (Polyphenylene Oxide), ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), and other semi-rigid plastics.

Key Features:

  • Fast 3-Minute Work Time: Quick setup allows for rapid repairs and efficient workflow in body shop environments
  • Automix Delivery System: Convenient 200mL cartridge with integrated mixing nozzle ensures proper ratio and thorough blending of both components
  • Flexible Urethane Formula: Maintains the semi-rigid properties of original parts, preventing cracking at repair sites
  • Broad Material Compatibility: Bonds effectively to multiple plastic substrates without the need for different adhesives
  • Professional Body Shop Quality: Trusted 3M solution for collision repair and plastic restoration

Ideal for repairing cracked, broken, or damaged bumper covers, fascias, and other semi-rigid automotive plastic components. The urethane chemistry provides durable, long-lasting repairs that flex with the part rather than creating brittle failure points.

We ordered a cover for a pickup truck bed and were so pleased that it was shipped so quickly. The price was the lowest that we found on the internet or in any of the stores where we looked. We were notified by e-mail as soon as it shipped. We will definitely shop this site again.
