Product Details

The Sachs SG229004 is a precision-engineered hatch lift support designed to provide reliable, controlled lifting assistance for hatchbacks and liftgates. This gas-charged strut is manufactured by Sachs, a trusted name in automotive suspension and support components found on millions of vehicles worldwide.

Key Features:

 • Cold specification design for consistent performance in varying temperature conditions
 • Gas-pressurized cylinder delivers smooth, controlled lifting action
 • Hardened, chrome-plated steel shaft for superior durability and corrosion resistance
 • Precision-engineered piston with seal to prevent leakage and maintain consistent pressure
 • Heavy-gauge steel body construction ensures long-lasting performance
 • Manufactured to meet or exceed OE quality standards

Lift supports are critical safety components that prevent hatches and liftgates from falling unexpectedly. When your original struts begin to weaken or fail, replacing them with quality Sachs components restores proper function and helps prevent potential injury or damage. For optimal performance and balanced support, lift supports should be replaced in pairs.

Extremely Happy! Best price on the web, easy order tracking, if only all online orders from other sources were this easy. I ordered a component from another online retailer who showed parts "in stock" only to see my status as "sent to warehouse" and it was weeks. When Autoplicity shows "in stock" it really was and delivered right away.

quick and easy

Great service !! Great prices !!! And fast shipping

I'm new with this side will let you know next time. Thank you.

Definitely the best price online by far! And the option to check out using Amazon is an added bonus. This will be my first stop for any future needs.

I purchased "Carrand Whisk Broom 10'' W Label",after exhaustive research for this particular item...they have the BEST/LOWEST COST for this item anywhere!!

Shipped in a timely manner too!

Will do business here again in the future,as they have prices that are LOW,plus the great products are found here too.

Thanks to the staff for a great online shopping experience!

Google searching produced this company as the lowest price on a set of spark plug wires. I like to deal with eBay, but I decided to try it out. Though the shipping was a bit more than Google estimated, it was still the lowest price! The item shipped quickly and was perfect with plenty of communication. Great seller!

This was the best and cheapest place to order my boyfriends present. We plan on ordering from here again!

Ordered a CTEK charger. Great price, and recieved it in 3 days. Very pleased.
