Sachs Hatch Lift Support Strut

Sachs hatch lift support struts, also called liftgate struts, trunk lift supports or tailgate gas springs, hold a hatch, liftgate or trunk lid open and help it lift and lower smoothly. Sachs is a well-known OE supplier of ride and motion-control components. Its gas struts are built to the same engineering standards as its original equipment parts.

Key Features:

• Pressurized gas-spring design that assists opening and holds the hatch in the raised position
• Durable steel construction with a protective finish for corrosion resistance
• Sealed piston rod and seal system that helps keep the gas charge in and contaminants out
• End fittings designed to match the original attachment points for straightforward installation
• Controlled, smooth operation that reduces strain on hinges and mounting points

These struts replace worn lift supports that let the hatch sag or slam shut. They restore easy, hands-free access to the cargo area. Select the correct part number from the variants listed on this page.
