Product Details

The ACDelco 39048 Professional Belt Drive Tensioner Assembly is designed to maintain proper serpentine belt tension in automotive applications. This tensioner automatically adjusts to compensate for belt stretch and wear, ensuring optimal power transfer to engine accessories including the alternator, power steering pump, air conditioning compressor, and water pump.

Key Features:

  • Professional-grade construction meets or exceeds OE specifications for fit, form, and function
  • Pre-assembled unit includes tensioner pulley and mounting bracket for straightforward installation
  • Spring-loaded automatic tensioning mechanism maintains consistent belt pressure throughout service life
  • Heat-treated steel components and precision bearings ensure durability under high-temperature engine bay conditions
  • Direct-fit replacement design installs using factory mounting points without modifications

ACDelco Professional parts are engineered to deliver reliable performance and long service life. This belt tensioner helps prevent belt slippage, reduces noise, and protects against premature belt and accessory bearing failure caused by improper tension.

My name was mispelled on order confirmation but spelled correctly when autoplicity wants me to rate their site, wierd.

your site was easy to navigate, no hoops to jump through

Best price online and quick shipment! Definately would buy from again!

Awesome service, lowest price around. Great customer service

It's been very easy so far. Thanks!

Fast shipping and a great deal on parts.

Thanks for having the part we needed for a great price!

I was apprehensiveness at first to make a major purchase with Autoplicity due to their extremely low price and lack of reviews. I decided to take the chance and I am very glad I did. I made my order on a Monday morning at 0900 eastern time and my product arrived on Wednesday at 3pm. The item was exactly as described and the most astonishing part is that my purchase was released from the factory less than 45 days ago. I was expecting a model that had been sitting on a shelf for the last year and needed to be updated. That was not the case. I will definitely order from Autoplicity again in the future.

Finding the part, and ordering it was great. But UPS dropped the otherwise phenomenal ball... Ordered the item on Wednesday... got it the next MONDAY. I ordered it Second Day Air. Then I find out, "Oh, it's Second BUSINESS Day Air... we don't work

Great experience. Good service. Reasonable prices.

Ordering my product was and best part of it was delivered earlier than expected, thanks again

Ordered some special Axles which required Factory shipping. Order was processed efficiently, and axles were shipped from factory in 2 work days. Excellent service, good followup on the order. Definitely a good source for parts.
