Product Details

The ACDelco 38406 is a professional-grade belt drive tensioner assembly designed to maintain proper serpentine belt tension in your engine's accessory drive system. This tensioner automatically adjusts to compensate for belt stretch and wear, ensuring optimal performance of alternators, power steering pumps, air conditioning compressors, and other belt-driven components.

Key Features:

  • Direct OE replacement design for precise fit and reliable installation
  • Pre-loaded spring mechanism maintains consistent belt tension throughout service life
  • High-quality bearing assembly for smooth pulley operation and reduced noise
  • Durable construction designed to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
  • No modifications required—installs exactly like factory tensioner

Belt tensioners are critical wear items that should be replaced when showing signs of bearing noise, excessive play, or inadequate spring tension. A failing tensioner can lead to belt slippage, premature belt wear, and accessory system failure. The ACDelco 38406 restores proper belt tension and extends the life of your serpentine belt system.

This is my first time (but definitely not my last) to use Autoplicity. After doing several searches for the Air Lift helper springs Autoplicity beat everyone by at least 20 dollars. Another nice shock was they have very reasonable shipping rates.

great prices and ships super fast!!

yes experience.

Great prices free shipping and order sent out next day,how can u go wrong! highly recommended this was my first order and will not be the last.

This is my first order from your company. I hope to get my parts quickly to repair my car.

Great prices & ordering was a breeze.

Everything worked well for me with this order. The only funny thing is that Autoplicity claimed that the part I was ordering will not fit make and model of my car, despite the fact that I was ordering manufacturer part number specific to my vehicle.

Wow shipped quick easy to order thanks
