Product Details

The ACDelco 15821239 is a GM Original Equipment Automatic Transmission Auxiliary Fluid Cooler designed as a direct-fit replacement for select Chevrolet and GMC trucks. Constructed from aluminum, this heat exchanger is engineered to meet the same specifications as the factory-installed component it replaces.

As a heat exchanger, this transmission cooler transfers thermal energy between the transmission fluid and either the engine coolant or ambient air, helping maintain the transmission's designed operating temperature range. Keeping transmission fluid temperatures in check is critical to protecting internal components and extending the service life of the transmission.

Key Features:

  • GM Original Equipment — meets or exceeds factory specifications for fit, form, and function
  • Aluminum construction for efficient heat transfer and durability
  • Functions as a heat exchanger between transmission fluid and coolant or ambient air
  • Helps optimize transmission efficiency and longevity by maintaining proper fluid temperatures
  • Sold as an individual unit (each)
  • GM Part Number: 15821239 | Also known as: Cooler Assembly, Trans Fluid Auxiliary

This ACDelco transmission oil cooler is the GM-recommended replacement part, offering the same reliability and performance as the original equipment component it is designed to replace.
