Product Details

The ACDelco 38271 Professional Belt Tensioner Assembly is designed to maintain proper tension on serpentine belts in automotive engines. This tensioner automatically adjusts belt tension throughout the life of the belt, ensuring optimal performance of engine-driven accessories including the alternator, power steering pump, water pump, and air conditioning compressor.

Key Features:

  • Professional-grade OE quality construction for reliable performance
  • Pre-loaded spring mechanism maintains consistent belt tension
  • Precision-engineered pulley bearing for smooth operation
  • Durable steel and composite construction resists wear and heat
  • Direct replacement for worn or failed factory tensioners
  • Helps prevent belt slippage, noise, and premature wear

Belt tensioners are critical components that should be replaced when signs of wear appear, including squealing noises, belt misalignment, or visible damage to the tensioner arm or pulley. ACDelco Professional parts meet or exceed OE specifications for fit, form, and function.

So far I am happy with Autoplicity's order status updates. I like when shipments are in process and with the updates I know progress is happening. When an order doesn't seem to be moving along a customer wonders what the hold up is. Well so far I don't have to wonder which makes me more patient in waiting for my order. Thank you, I will explore Autoplicity's website for more cool stuff for my car.

Autoplicity had the best price for what I needed. I received my order within 2 days boxed up nice and tight. What more could you ask for? I will be a repeat customer.

Thanks again! Best prices I found on the web! Fast shipping Would definitely buy from again!
