ACDelco Professional Serpentine Belt Tensioner Assembly

The ACDelco Professional Serpentine Belt Tensioner Assembly (also called a drive belt tensioner or automatic belt tensioner) keeps the correct tension on the serpentine belt. This helps the engine's accessories run reliably. Those accessories include the alternator, power steering pump, water pump and A/C compressor.

Key Features:

• Complete assembly designed to maintain consistent belt tension across the engine's operating range
• Helps reduce belt slip, noise and premature belt wear
• Part of the ACDelco Professional line, which is engineered to meet or exceed original equipment expectations for fit, form and function
• Built for dependable, long-term service in daily driving
• Backed by the ACDelco name, a brand with a long history as a supplier of GM parts and replacement components

A worn tensioner can cause belt squeal, accessory problems or belt failure. Replacing it when you replace the serpentine belt is a common maintenance practice. It helps restore proper belt drive performance and protects the accessories the belt drives.
