Product Details

The ACDelco RC81 is a professional-grade radiator surge tank cap assembly designed to maintain proper cooling system pressure in your vehicle. This cap serves as a critical component of the cooling system, sealing the radiator or coolant reservoir while allowing controlled pressure relief to prevent system damage.

Key Features:

  • Precision-engineered pressure relief valve maintains optimal cooling system performance
  • Durable construction designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures
  • Direct replacement for worn or damaged radiator caps
  • Helps prevent coolant loss and overheating
  • ACDelco professional quality for reliable operation

A properly functioning radiator cap is essential for maintaining correct cooling system pressure, which raises the boiling point of coolant and ensures efficient heat transfer. The RC81 provides a secure seal while allowing excess pressure to vent safely, protecting hoses, gaskets, and other cooling system components from damage.
