ACDelco Radiator Surge Tank Cap

The ACDelco Radiator Surge Tank Cap is a replacement coolant reservoir and surge tank cap. It is also called an expansion tank cap or coolant recovery cap. It seals the cooling system and helps keep coolant pressure within the range the system is designed for. This helps the engine hold stable operating temperatures.

Key Features:

• Seals the surge tank to hold system pressure and limit coolant loss
• Built-in pressure relief valve vents excess pressure to help protect hoses, the radiator and the tank
• Replaces a worn or damaged cap that no longer holds pressure
• Made to meet ACDelco's standards for fit, function and durability
• Direct-fit replacement design for simple installation, with no modification needed

A weak or failing cap can cause coolant loss, overheating, a collapsed hose or poor coolant recovery. Replacing it is a low-cost way to help protect the cooling system. ACDelco is a long-established name in automotive parts and is backed by General Motors. Choose the correct item for your application from the variants listed on this page.
