Clevite CB-1226P-30 P-Series High Performance Rod Bearings

Clevite CB-1226P-30 P-Series connecting rod bearings are engineered for high-performance and racing applications where extreme RPMs demand maximum bearing retention and durability. These precision-manufactured bearings exceed OEM standards and provide superior protection against friction and wear in demanding engine conditions.

P-Series Performance Features:

• High eccentricity design optimizes load distribution at extreme RPM levels
• Hardened steel backing provides exceptional strength and fretting resistance
• High crush design ensures maximum bearing retention in the rod bore
• Reduced overlay thickness prevents overlay fatigue and "hen tracking"
• TriMetal construction combines durability with superior anti-wear properties
• Engineered for engines experiencing severe rod bore distortion at high RPM

Technical Specifications:

• Hardened steel back for added strength
• Greatest amount of eccentricity in Clevite's bearing lineup
• Standard clearance (extra clearance versions available separately)
• TriMetal bearing construction with lead-tin-copper overlay

Application Notes:

P-Series bearings are ideal for racing and high-performance engines that operate at extremely high RPMs, particularly where bearing contact patterns show severe rod bore close-in from parting line to parting line. These bearings work in conjunction with full-grooved P-Series main bearings to maximize oil flow throughout the engine's bearing system.

Important: Clevite rod bearings are sold as paired sets (two bearing halves for one connecting rod). For a 6-cylinder engine, order quantity of 6 sets. For an 8-cylinder engine, order quantity of 8 sets.
