Product Details

The Dorman 785-072 is a square head pipe plug designed for reliable sealing of 3/8 inch male NPT (National Pipe Thread) openings. This precision-threaded plug provides a secure, leak-resistant seal for hydraulic systems, fuel lines, brake lines, and other fluid handling applications commonly found in automotive, marine, and industrial equipment.

Key Features:

  • Square head design allows for easy installation and removal with standard wrenches
  • 3/8 inch MNPT threading ensures proper fit and seal
  • Durable construction resists corrosion and withstands high-pressure applications
  • Ideal for capping unused ports or temporarily sealing lines during maintenance
  • Direct replacement for original equipment pipe plugs

This pipe plug is an essential component for service and repair work, allowing technicians to properly seal threaded ports during system testing, maintenance, or when blocking off unused connections. The square head provides superior grip and torque capability compared to slotted or hex socket designs.

I recently needed head bolts for my 408 stroker motor that I'm building. I searched the Internet and Autoplicity had the ARP Head Bolts that I needed. Great price and quick shipping. Will definitely buy from again!!

Amazing prices, cheapest I could find anywhere. Only down side is the shipping is more than it should be.

Very happy with my purchase and product from Autoplicity! Highly recommend.

Great product and half the price of any one else I've shopped would recommend this to everyone.

autoplicity has the lowest price and fast service .I will definitely use autoplicity for my next auto parts purchase

At first I did not expect Autoplicity to even carry this part, but in fact they did. Placed the order and I received the part quickly. They were the cheapest for the part after searching nearly everywhere. Will order from them again.<br>Order #8334

I ordered the Truxport tonneau cover for my Nissan Frontier. I am very happy with Autoplicity, they have the best price by far on this product, and they promptly sent me an email when it was shipped.....the ONLY thing I wish they would have done but didn't is to include a tracking number. I think the reason they didn't include it is that it was shipped directly from the manufacturer, but they did give me the tracking number when I called and asked for it. Overall a very positive experience

Great prices and very quick shipping! Thanks
