Product Details

The ARP AQ5-2501LB is a precision-engineered cylinder head stud kit designed specifically for Volvo Penta AQ series marine engines. ARP (Automotive Racing Products) manufactures these studs from premium 8740 chromoly steel, providing exceptional strength and durability for high-performance and marine applications.

Key Features:

 • Manufactured from 8740 chromoly steel for superior tensile strength
 • Heat-treated to 200,000 PSI tensile strength rating
 • Precision thread rolling for improved fatigue resistance
 • Designed to replace factory cylinder head bolts with stronger studs
 • Prevents head gasket failure under high stress conditions
 • Includes hardened parallel-ground washers and premium nuts
 • Corrosion-resistant coating suitable for marine environments

ARP studs provide more accurate and consistent torque loading compared to conventional head bolts, ensuring proper cylinder head sealing and reducing the risk of gasket failure. This kit is ideal for performance rebuilds, marine racing applications, or any situation requiring maximum clamping force and reliability.

Fast and efficient

All was great

My first order was delivered in under 48 hrs nice work thank you

Best prices, fastest shipping.

Part was easy to find and check out was super fast.

Ordered the product on a Friday at about 11am, the product arrived the following Monday at noon from PA, to KS! The shipping was free, no sales tax, and the product was $65.00 less expensive here. Called customer service prior to ordering to verify a couple of things before ordering, and the experience was excellent! This was my first order with Autoplicity, after this, they will be my first shopping stop from now on!

.

I am happy with the product that I bought. The delivery time is shorter than expected. The only suggestion I have is to include other possible necessary parts such as bolts, nuts and gasket as recommended items. Also, correct the image for the product on the webpage.

Very pleased with my purchase and Autoplicity. Got the best price on the internet and received it very quickly. Product arrived just as discribed. I highly recommend Autoplicity for your on-line shopping needs.

Awsome service and prices,Thanks alot

Great to deal with both online and over the phone. Buy with confidence.

Great price!

Great prices and super fast shipping. Found my new online parts store!

I was a bit concerned buying from a online retailer I had not done business with before, but Autoplicity is now on my list of preferred vendors. I was sure there would be some problem, as the part I ordered was $73 cheaper than anywhere else online (too good to be true). Well, the part arrived super fast, and was exactly as I ordered. I did not hear from them immediately after ordering, but received confirmation and tracking info when the item shipped, which was two days after ordering. All in all, a great, money saving experience.

Update:
While I am still pleased with the service I received, I find it odd that Autoplicity emailed me and offered me a refund of $5 for writing a review. It has been a couple of weeks since I posted my review, and I have yet to see any credits on my credit card.

I found great prices and they shipped immediately. Best deal online.
