Product Details

The TCI Auto 880043A is a replacement speedometer driven gear housing designed specifically for GM TH400 transmissions. This critical component houses the driven gear that interfaces with the transmission's output shaft drive gear to provide accurate speedometer readings.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement for worn or damaged TH400 driven gear housings
  • Precision-engineered for accurate fitment in the transmission tailhousing
  • Designed to accommodate specific driven gear tooth counts
  • Manufactured by TCI Automotive to OEM specifications
  • Essential component for speedometer calibration and accurate vehicle speed readings

This housing is a removable component that mounts in the transmission tailhousing and secures the driven gear in proper mesh with the output shaft drive gear. When replacing speedometer components or recalibrating your speedometer for different tire sizes or gear ratios, using the correct housing for your specific driven gear tooth count is essential for proper operation and accurate speed readings.
