VEMO V48-77-0014 A/C Expansion Valve, Air Conditioning Expansion Valve

The VEMO V48-77-0014 A/C expansion valve (also called an air conditioning expansion valve or AC thermostatic expansion valve) is a replacement part for the vehicle's climate control system. It sits at the evaporator inlet. There it meters the flow of liquid refrigerant and lowers its pressure, so the refrigerant can absorb heat from the cabin air and cool it effectively.

Key Features:

• Regulates refrigerant flow into the evaporator for consistent cooling performance
• VEMO replacement part made to match the performance of the original component
• OE cross-references: Land Rover LR072087 and LR036378
• Approximate dimensions: 50 mm wide x 34 mm long x 69 mm high
• Approximate weight: 0.21 kg (0.46 lb)

A worn or stuck expansion valve can cause weak cooling, uneven evaporator temperatures, or poor A/C performance. Replacing it restores proper refrigerant control. The A/C system should be evacuated and recharged by a qualified technician following the vehicle manufacturer's service procedure.
