Mei A/C Expansion Valve

The Mei A/C Expansion Valve line offers thermal expansion valves (also called TXVs or A/C metering devices) for heavy-duty truck air conditioning systems. The expansion valve controls how much liquid refrigerant flows into the evaporator. It lowers the refrigerant's pressure and temperature so the system can absorb heat from the cabin air and cool efficiently.

A failing expansion valve can cause weak cooling, uneven vent temperatures, or compressor strain. Replacing it restores proper refrigerant metering. For best results, replace the receiver-drier or accumulator at the same time. Also evacuate and recharge the system to the manufacturer's specification when you service the valve.
