Design Engineering Dei Protect-A-Sleeve

The Design Engineering (DEI) Protect-A-Sleeve is a heat shield sleeve, also called a heat sleeve or hose wrap. It protects wires, hoses, fuel and oil lines, spark plug wires and cables from engine and exhaust heat. DEI built it to stop the burning and cracking that extreme under-hood heat causes in plug wires, lines and hoses.

Key Features:

• LR Technology: DEI's proprietary construction gives high-temperature thermal protection for street vehicles and race engines.
• High heat ratings: The sleeves are rated for up to 1800°F direct heat and 2500°F radiant heat.
• Broad line protection: They shield fuel lines, oil lines, spark plug wires and electrical wires from direct heat and radiant under-hood heat.
• Water and heat resistant: They suit powersports (ATV/UTV, motorcycle, personal watercraft, snowmobile) and marine use as well as automotive applications.
• Hot-spot protection: Use them to protect plug wires from hot exhaust manifolds and headers, and to protect radiator hoses, heater hoses and other large hoses.

The Protect-A-Sleeve line comes in several inside diameters and lengths. Choose the option that suits the wire, line or hose you need to protect.
