Soler & Palau Steel Backdraft Damper

The Soler & Palau Steel Backdraft Damper is a round metal duct damper from the CAR series. It stops backdrafts in ventilation and exhaust duct runs. Use it with bathroom exhaust fans, kitchen ventilation, dryer vents and other round-duct exhaust lines. It keeps outside air, drafts and debris from coming back through the duct.

Key Features:

• Galvanized steel collar: a corrosion-resistant collar that connects to standard round ductwork.
• Lightweight aluminum blades: the blades open outward with airflow and close again when the fan stops.
• Spring-loaded closure: the blades close positively to help block reverse airflow.
• PVC foam seal: the seal helps the blades close tightly against the frame.
• Simple installation: it installs in-line in the duct run.

Soler & Palau is part of the Soler & Palau Ventilation Group, founded in 1951. The group makes air movement products for HVAC and ventilation applications. This backdraft damper is a dependable way to improve exhaust system performance and help limit unwanted air infiltration.
