Product Details

The Soler & Palau CAR400 is a heavy-duty 16-inch steel backdraft damper designed to prevent reverse airflow in ventilation systems. This damper automatically closes when the exhaust fan is not operating, blocking outside air, pests, and debris from entering through the ductwork.

Key Features:

  • 16-inch diameter opening for medium to large ventilation applications
  • Durable steel construction for long-lasting performance in commercial and industrial environments
  • Gravity-operated blades that open during fan operation and close when airflow stops
  • Prevents backdrafts, reduces energy loss, and maintains building pressure
  • Compatible with Soler & Palau exhaust fans and standard duct systems

Ideal for commercial kitchens, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and any application requiring reliable backdraft prevention. The CAR400 installs easily in round duct systems and provides dependable protection against reverse airflow.

Well Im happy to have gotten a realy low price I've been wanting this model for a whyle thank you .

I found that boatplicity had the best price I could find on the Scotty rod holders and mounts that I needed. I had never ordered from or heard of them before. But I took a chance and placed an order with them anyway because of the lowest price. I was pleasantly surprised! Everything went GREAT!!! I would buy from them again!!! (I do think I should have gotten free shipping on an order that was over $100.00 but I did not.)

Good

very easy!

Ordered two of the same windshield wipers, and they shipped separately.. one was packed very nicely in an oversized box... the other was wrapped in a plastic mailer and arrived with the clips inside crushed

Awesome

Went well.
