Forney 8% Cobalt Drill Bit 135° Split Point

Forney 8% cobalt drill bits with a 135° split point are built for drilling tough metals, including stainless steel, cast iron, and other hard or abrasive materials. The M42 8% cobalt high-speed steel construction holds its hardness at high temperatures, so these bits resist heat and wear better than standard high-speed steel bits.

Key Features:

• 8% cobalt high-speed steel: Resists heat and holds a sharp cutting edge in demanding applications.
• 135° split point: Starts accurately without a center punch and reduces walking at the start of the hole.
• Fast, efficient cutting: The split point tip needs less feed pressure and helps produce clean holes.
• Versatile use: Works with hand drills, drill presses, and other power drills for fabrication, maintenance, and repair work.

These cobalt drill bits are a durable choice for metalworking, welding shops, and industrial or home workshops that need dependable performance across hard materials.
